Maura joined Asymmetry Group in May 2022 after working in the pharmaceutical industry for 15 years. She spent the majority of her time in industry at Biogen in a variety of US and Global Commercial roles, including Marketing, Commercial Operations, Sales Training Operations, and Marketing Excellence. In addition to working on product launches, Maura helped to build out Biogen’s Global Marketing Excellence program, led the strategic and tactical planning process for multiple products across different therapeutic areas, and managed several large cross-functional projects. At Akebia Therapeutics, Maura served as the HCP Marketing lead for a launch product. Maura holds an M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a B.B.A from The George Washington University. In her free time, Maura enjoys spending time outdoors, especially at the beach, with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.
