Pamela’s inspiration for working in the healthcare space stems from witnessing the incredible value that biopharma innovation brings to patient lives. Both personal and professional experiences have led her to develop a strong desire to meaningfully contribute to drug development. Pamela’s professional work in the biopharma and life sciences industry, coupled with her academic background in Neuroscience, has cultivated a broad understanding of the steps necessary to bring high quality therapies to patients in need.
Prior to joining Asymmetry Group, Pamela worked in Regulatory Affairs at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where she staged and drafted various regulatory submission documents for both investigational and commercialized products. Previously, she worked at Biohaven Pharmaceuticals conducting health economics and outcomes research. Her experiences there included extensive market research and systematic literature reviews for pipeline drugs in the neurological and rare disease spaces. Pamela’s professional roles within both large and small biotech companies have equipped her with the skills necessary to work on highly cross-functional teams.
Pamela holds a B.S. in Neuroscience and a management minor from Boston College.
